Enjoy the outdoors while helping park visitors with questions and first aid care. Be part of the Volunteer Ski Patrol Team at Lebanon Hills Regional Park, Spring Lake Park Reserve or Whitetail Woods Regional Park.
***Currently, our ski trail patrol program is full. We are not seeking additional members for 2018-2019 season.
- Minimum age 16 years
- Good physical fitness and customer service skills
- Adult/Child CPR Certification
- Basic First Aid Certification
- Must provide own ski equipment
- Intermediate skiing skill level
- Completion of all required training
(Volunteers must complete all training before working as patrol.)

CPR & First Aid Certification
Current certification in Adult/Child CPR & Basic First Aid through March 2019 is required. Volunteers may seek and register for certification programs on their own, and Dakota County Parks will provide reimbursement for the cost or the volunteer may attend the scheduled certification programs listed below, at no cost.
Certification must be completed by Dec. 31, 2018 to be eligible to volunteer.
The Volunteer Ski Patrol helps in the park from Nov. 1–March 31 every year. Volunteers are asked to commit to 25 hours per ski season, including one special event.
