Read, play and sing along with your young child in this interactive storytime designed for newborns and babies. Geared for ages birth to age 2 with their caregivers.
Storytime for 2s–6s
Read, play, sing, talk and write together with Dakota County children's librarians. Enjoy stories and participate in activities to develop early literacy skills. Geared for children ages 2 and older with their caregivers. Siblings welcome.

Bengali Storytime
Join community member Rima as she shares children's stories celebrating Indian culture. This event will be presented in Bengali and English. The Indian language featured will be primarily Bengali. Geared for youth ages 3 and older with their caregivers. Siblings welcome.
Cuentos y Cultura: Celebrating Latino Heritage
Dive into Latino heritage with bilingual educator Corina Pastrana for captivating stories and melodies celebrating Latino culture. Enjoy traditional songs and stories, followed by themed crafts. Join us for cultural appreciation and language development in a welcoming environment. Presented in Spanish and English. For ages 5 and older with their caregivers. Siblings welcome.
Somali Stories and Songs with Fardousa
Join us for storytelling, songs, rhymes and books that celebrate Somali culture and language. Then stay for playtime and activities. Presented in Somali. For ages 3 and older. Siblings welcome.
