Chemical health assessment

The Behavioral Health Fund can cover the cost of a chemical health assessment and treatment, if you:

  • Are a current Minnesota resident (please apply in the county where you live).
  • Don't have health insurance that covers treatment or were denied coverage.
  • Meet the Minnesota state guidelines for income and household size.

Safe and Healthy Start supports you in your journey to parenthood and recovery. If you live in Dakota County, are pregnant and interested in receiving support for a substance-free pregnancy, our skilled staff can help. Together, we will identify your strengths and reach your goals for your growing family. Our services are always free and voluntary.
