Canoes, kayaks and paddleboards are available for rent during the summer season at the Lebanon Hills Visitor Center for use in Lebanon Hills Regional Park. Fishing equipment is also available for use at no charge.

Group rates: None. Outdoor recreational equipment may be made available for rent to organized groups for use by contacting the Lebanon Hills Visitor Center at 651-554-6530. Accommodation is based on advance notice and availability.
The fleet of canoes is comprised of Wenonah canoes. Our Wenonah canoes weight approximately 60 or 80 pounds with the lighter being a great option for portaging on our 5-mile portage route. Rental rate includes paddles and life jackets. Maximum four persons per canoe (not to exceed 3 adults or specific boat weight limit).
The fleet of kayaks feature both single and double (tandem) kayaks. Rental rate includes paddles and life jackets. Double kayaks can be outfitted with a child seat. Portaging carts available at no additional fee for easy portaging on our five mile portage route.
Stand up paddleboards
Stand up paddling is a new and exciting way to experience your parks. Think surfing...without the big waves. Rental rate includes paddles and life jackets.
Dakota County and the Minnesota DNR are partnering to offer the Fishing in the Neighborhood Program which provides free use of fishing equipment including rods and tackle at Lebanon Hills Regional Park. Fish bait (night crawlers) can be purchased at the Visitor Center.
A wide variety of live bait is available for sale. Prices vary.
A photo ID is required for rentals. You must be at least 18 years of age to sign the equipment rental agreement. Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
