Group of summer campers posing on a dock.Dakota County provides summer camp programs to youth ages 4–15. We offer a variety of themes ranging from fishing to wilderness survival to mountain biking.

Group sizes range from 12–24. Programs are taught by park naturalists and contract instructors, who are experts in their field. They make learning about nature a fun, hands-on experience.

For 2026 summer camp offerings, see the program registration page.

Registration opens Feb. 1, 2026 at 9 a.m.

Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please visit the program registration page to register.

If program cost is a barrier, please contact us for financial options. Call 952-891-7000 for more information.
