​Pride flagCelebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride Month at events, through curated book displays in the library, and out in the community. ​

Community P​ride Quilt

Join families, friends, and neighbors to celebrate Pride Month. Stop by for a free book, take and make kit, and participate in our fifth annual community quilt project. Presented by artist Z Akhmetova. For all ages. This event is presented in partnership with the Friends of the Pleasant Hill Library.

​Pride ​Storytime

Celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride Month together with stories, songs and rhymes at this special Pride Storytime. For youth ages 2 and older. Siblings welcome.

Monday, June 22, 10–10:45 a.m.​

Pride Crafts for Tween​s and Teens

Create a shibori tie die bandana using colors of the rainbow. Use clothes pins and rubber bands to create unique design patterns. Presented by the Textile Center. Geared for youth ages 12–18.

Thursday, July 25, 2-3:30 p.m.

​Needle Felted ​Rainbow Pride Pin

Learn how to compress fibers to create a fabric rainbow using neon hues of loose wool roving and a special needle. Attach your pride pin to your favorite bag or outfit. Presented by Parcel Arts. Registration required. For adults.
