Central Greenway ensures that greenways around Lebanon Hills Regional Park will connect to each other. This will provide safe, clear and efficient routes to a complete and connected trail network.
The area will connect:
- Mendota-Lebanon Hills Greenway
- North Creek Greenway
- Rosemount Greenway
- Vermillion Highlands Greenway
- Veterans Memorial Greenway
Central Greenway Connectivity Study
The study was conducted to develop a connected system between the regional greenways around Lebanon Hills Regional Park.
Project purposes and goals:
- Evaluate and recommend efficient routes for bicycles and pedestrians between existing, planned and proposed greenways
 
- Inventory existing bikeway facilities
 
- Assess conditions of existing bike and pedestrian facilities
 
- Identify opportunities for bicycle and pedestrian facility improvements and make recommendations
 
- Ensure bicycle and pedestrian access from existing residential areas
- Keep Lebanon Hills Regional Park a natural and recreational destination
