​Central Greenway ensures that greenways around Lebanon Hills Regional Park will connect to each other. This will provide safe, clear and efficient routes to a complete and connected trail network.

The area will connect:

  • Mendota-Lebanon Hills Greenway
  • North Creek Greenway
  • Rosemount Greenway
  • Vermillion Highlands Greenway
  • Veterans Memorial Greenway

Central Greenway Connectivity Study

The study was conducted to develop a connected system between the regional greenways around Lebanon Hills Regional Park.

Project purposes and goals:

  • Evaluate and recommend efficient routes for bicycles and pedestrians between existing, planned and proposed greenways
  • Inventory existing bikeway facilities
  • Assess conditions of existing bike and pedestrian facilities
  • Identify opportunities for bicycle and pedestrian facility improvements and make recommendations
  • Ensure bicycle and pedestrian access ​from existing residential areas
  • Keep Lebanon Hills Regional Park a natural and recreational destination
