Payment policies
Retreat centers, Gathering Room (Schaar's Bluff Gathering Center) and Dakota Lodge (weekday events)
- Full rental fee payment and damage/security deposit is required at the time the reservation is made.
- VISA, Mastercard, and Discover accepted.
Dakota Lodge (weekend events)
- Full rental fee payment and damage/security deposit are required at the time the reservation is made for events occurring within 90 days.
- For events booked 90 or more days in advance a minimum of 50 percent non-refundable down payment on the total rental fee is due at the time of reservation, with the balance of the rental fee and damage/security deposit due at least 60 days prior to the event date.
- VISA, Mastercard, and Discover accepted.
Outdoor ceremony venues
- Full payment is due at time of reservation and is non-refundable.
- Visa, Mastercard and Discover accepted.
Cancellation policies
Dakota Lodge (weekday), Gathering Room (weekday) and retreat centers,
- 21 or more days notice: 50 percent cancellation fee; ($15 minimum cancellation fee)
- Less than 21 days notice: No refund
- Damage and security deposit refunded on all cancellations
Dakota Lodge and Gathering Room weekend
- 60 days or more notice: 50 percent cancellation fee
- Less than 60 days notice: no refund
Outdoor ceremony venues
- A full refund will be issued only in the event of severe or life-threatening weather.
