The camper cabins are governed by
County Ordinance 107 - Park Use and patrolled by the Parks, Lakes and Trails unit of the Dakota County Sheriff's Office.
To make your stay a safe and pleasant experience:
Cabin rules
Cooking is not permitted inside the cabins, but use of crockpots and coffee pots are permitted. These items need to be plugged directly into an outlet. Use of multiplug adapters or extension cords with these items are not permitted.
Pets are not allowed inside the cabin.
Tents and campers are not permitted in the camper cabin area or the park.
Alcohol and controlled substances
Beer, wine, ciders, flavored alcoholic beverages, and other single-serving, prepackaged beverages are permitted in the cabins and cabin area. Kegs, barrels or more than a single case of 24 prepackaged, single-serving beverages are not permitted in the park.
Tobacco
Smoking, e-cigarettes and tobacco use is not allowed in the cabins, on the cabin decks, in the fire ring/picnic table areas or in the restroom and shower building. Smoking is allowed in the parking lot only.
Quiet hours
Quiet hours are scheduled from 10 p.m.–8 a.m.
Parking
Cars must park in the designated parking lot. Each cabin will have one designated parking space.
Visitors
Visitors must leave the park by 10 p.m. The maximum capacity per cabin at any time is six people.
Rental to minors
Minors (under 18 years of age) are not allowed to rent a cabin. Campers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian per cabin.
Firewood
Fires are allowed in grills and fire rings only. Firewood is available for purchase at the Lebanon Hills Visitor Center rental office open daily, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. You can also purchase from an approved DNR vendor. See firewood restrictions for details.
Activities not permitted
- Cutting trees or shrubs or bringing in logs from the woods
- Disturbing wildlife or defacing park property
- Cleaning fish and washing dishes in buildings
- Fireworks
