Couple entering their Prairie View Cabin.Check-in

Access to the cabins is by barcode scanner. Rental customers will receive a barcode via email with their booking confirmation. The code can be printed or used directly from a smartphone.

Access to the cabin begins at 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. The barcode will need to be scanned anytime you would like to access the cabin. Like a hotel, the door will automatically lock behind you when you leave.

Check-out

Check-out time is 11 a.m. on the date of your departure. Access codes will stop working at 11 a.m. Cabins should be left in a clean state.  Basic cleaning supplies will be provided in the cabins, including:

  • Paper towels
  • Multi-surface cleaner
  • Broom

Recycle and trash receptacles with bags are provided.  All recycle and trash should be removed prior to check-out.  Permit holders will be charged an extra fee for excessive cleaning time.  Permit holder is responsible for any property damage.

Upon departure, verify door is fully closed and locked behind you.

Recycling in the camper cabins

Recycling and waste information along with bags will be given in the cabin. Low-waste camping is a priority for Dakota County campgrounds.
