Access to the cabins is by barcode scanner. Rental customers will receive a barcode via email with their booking confirmation. ​You can print the code or use it from your smartphone.

Access to the cabin begins at 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. The barcode needs to be scanned anytime you access the cabin. Like a hotel, the door will lock behind you when you leave.

Check-out

Check-out time is 11 a.m.​ on the date of your depart​ure. Access codes will stop working at 11 a.m. Cabins should be in a clean state.  Basic cleaning supplies provided in the cabins, including:

  • Paper towels
  • Multi-surface cleaner
  • Broom 

Extra fee may apply for excessive cleaning time.  Permit holder responsible for any property damage.

Upon departure, verify door is fully closed and locked behind you. 

Recycling in the camper cabins

Recycling and waste information, along with bags, provided in the cabin. Low-waste camping is a priority for Dakota County campgrounds. Remove all recycling and trash before check-out.​
