Dakota County is working with Great River Greening to remove invasive trees and buckthorn in and around areas where goats have been browsing. Work will begin Feb. 14, 2025. Initial removal will be completed by March 30, 2025 with follow-up in the fall of 2025 and 2026. This tree removal is part of ongoing efforts to restore prairie, savanna and woodland habitat in Lebanon Hills. This project is funded by the Minnesota Outdoor Heritage Fund and Dakota County.
