Dakota County is restoring 106 acres of forest, woodland and prairie east of Schaar's Bluff Gathering Center in Spring Lake Park Reserve. This project will help preserve high-quality forests in the park. It will also restore degraded woodland and prairie areas, creating a resilient and healthy landscape.
The county received funding for this project through the Minnesota's Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment.
