Clay Heart Trinkets
Celebrate the friendships in your life by creating something special for a friend. Craft your own clay heart trinkets and make an extra one to gift to someone you care about. Heart cutout templates will be available for use or create any shape that inspires you. Projects will be taken offsite by artist to be fired and clear glazed. Project will be ready to pick up from the library after three weeks. Presented by the Northern Clay Center. For ages 5 and older.

Dragon's Egg Art Surprise
Drop in for this unique workshop that is part creative challenge, part silly and magical interactive experience. Meet a spectacular handmade dragon puppet and receive a "dragon egg" pouch filled with hand-selected, surprise craft supplies such as fabrics, beads, buttons and more. Your challenge is to decorate a hanging ornament using the materials from your egg. Presented by Z Akhmetova. For youth ages 8–18.

Paper Plains
Drop in any time to create paper from regionally harvested, invasive plants. Learn techniques in paper making and hear about the history of invasive plants in Minnesota. The paper made is unique, embedded with native prairie seeds, and carries a little piece of the Great Plains. Whether it hangs on the fridge or gets planted in the garden, handmade paper will grow the arts in your community. For youth of all ages.
