Summer Discovery

​​Visit the library for fun reading and learning activities for kids ages birth to 18. 

The program runs June 1–Aug. 31, 2026. 

How to parti​cipate  

Starting June 1​, head to your nearest Dakota County Library location and pick up your activity log. ​Comple​te activities and return your completed log​ by Aug. 31 for a free book. Available while supplies last.  

Summer Discovery mat​erials are available for the following age groups: 

• Children age birth–11  
• Teens age 12-18
