Adopt-a-Shelf Program
Make sure books can be found by staff and other patrons. Double check the organization of the book shelves in the library by making sure nonfiction books are in Dewey Decimal Order and fiction books are alphabetized by author's last name. The Library trains all Adopt-a-Shelf volunteers in our organization system — it's quick and painless. Flexible volunteer hours available.
General Library Support
Volunteers will help with small projects that may change with each volunteer shift. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: cleaning picture book bins, dusting, watering plants, shredding paper, preparing supplies for a library event, etc. Flexible volunteer hours available.
Summer Discovery Volunteens
The Volunteen program is an opportunity for youth, ages 12–18, to participate in a community service activity during the summer months. Volunteens assist youth librarians in registering children and teens for Summer Discovery and help with library events from June to August. Find out more about Summer Discovery Volunteens.
