Environmental Education Resources

​Dakota County provides a number of resources for teachers, students, community groups and other organizations to help with education and outreach on a variety of environmental topics. The resources include interactive displays and props, background information, instructions for set-up, and environmental education lesson plans and activities.

The resources are available for check out to formal and informal educators in Dakota County for a maximum of one week. To reserve education resources, please contact us at 952-891-7557.

Reserved kits and banners are available for pick up at the Western Service Center in Apple Valley between 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. Kits that are in carrying cases and larger kits may be awkward to carry. Also note the size and weight of the containers for transportation purposes.
