A Dakota County grand jury indicted Demarco Marquie Jones, 30 of Farmington, on one count of first-degree premeditated murder, one count of first-degree murder while committing domestic abuse with a past pattern of domestic abuse, and one count of second-degree intentional murder in connection with the death of 26-year-old Tatianna Marie Ehnes-Giles, Dakota County Attorney Kathy Keena announced.
Jones was initially charged with one count of second-degree intentional murder on Dec. 29, 2025. Further details regarding the circumstances of the case can be found in the previously issued media release.
Jones remains in custody at the Dakota County Jail and will make his first appearance on the indictment on Monday, April 27 at 1 p.m. in Hastings.
