Items checked out from the library will automatically renew up to two times if there are no requests for the item.
There are two additional ways to renew materials:
In person
Ask for assistance at any Dakota County Library.
Online
To renew materials online, complete the following steps.
After connecting to the
Library Catalog:
- Click on My Account.
- Enter your library barcode and PIN (Personal Identification Number). If you have not created a PIN, or don't know what it is, please contact the library for assistance.
- Select the
Login button.
- Select the
Checkouts tab.
- Select the items you wish to renew.
- Select the
Renew button.
- Items successfully renewed will show new due dates. If any items could not be renewed, an explanatory message will be displayed.
