Wentworth Library was last renovated in 2008. A new renovation project will make necessary updates and reorganize the interior to improve in-demand spaces to better support services and technology. The project will include new furniture, equipment, accessibility improvements, and mechanical and electrical building system upgrades.
Dakota County contracted with LEO A DALY to provide professional design services for this project.
Work to date
Throughout 2024, our team developed the new design. The renovated library will include new, accessible meeting and study rooms, new restrooms, new furniture and finishes throughout. This will create a modern and functional spaces to meet resident needs for years to come.
The 3D rendering shows public use computers down the center with study rooms on the right side and a large conference room on the left side. This also shows the proposed updates to interior finishes, lighting and furniture.
