Summer Dis​covery Chess Club

Join us in the children's area for fun, casual games of chess. Play against our summer Volunteens or with other kids. All levels are welcome. Event takes place in the children's area. For youth ages 6 and up.

​Lego C​lub

Test your building skills with a monthly Lego challenge and then display your epic creations at the library until the next Lego Club. Registration required. For youth ages 6–12.

Lego Open​ Build

Join us for a morning of building fun. Test your building skills using Legos, Duplos and MegaBlocks. For youth ages 6–12.

Use natural dens and animal dwellings as inspiration and let your imagination take the wheel. Work by yourself or with others to build creative forts using a variety of building materials. Presented by Now.Make.Art. For youth ages 6-10. Program will be held outdoors.

Drop in and discover what you can create with Lego, blocks, not-blocks and marble run sets. Challenge yourself and your imagination. For youth ages 5 and up.

Join us for outdoor water games and play. Please dress to get wet and bring a towel. For youth ages 2 and older with their caregivers. Weather dependent. Presented in partnership with Dakota County Parks.

Drop in to play with a train set. Work with others to create a town using a variety of pieces, including train cars, tracks, bridges, animals and more. For youth ages 2–8 with their caregivers. Siblings welcome.

Celebrate the end of summer reading with snacks, games and activities. For youth ages birth to 18. Sponsored in part by the Friends of Pleasant Hill Library. This event will be held outdoors, weather permitting.
