A non-certified copy is a plain paper copy of a death record. It does not show an issue date or issuance location. Non-certified copies are for informational use only and cannot be used for legal purposes. If you need a certificate for legal use, please go to certified death certificates.

Each additional non-certified copy of the same record issued at the same time: $4
The Burnsville, Lakeville and Robert Trail License Centers accept Discover and MasterCard. License centers do not accept Visa.
The Administration Center and Northern Service Center DO NOT accept credit or debit cards.

Anyone can get non-certified copy of a death record. You must complete an 
application.
