​​​ Duck taking off from the water.Dakota County offers parking permits for waterfowl hunting access from Bud’s Landing in Spring Lake Park Reserve to the Spring Lake Islands Wildlife Management Area. Bud’s Landing is located on the Mississippi River and can be accessed from the far north end of Fischer Avenue in Nininger Township.

2024 ​season

Bud's Landing is closed for the season.​

Cost​

$10 + tax​ per day, including sales tax. You must be 18 years old to purchase a parking permit. ​

Directions

Pine Bend Trail is currently closed to thru traffic west of Fahey Avenue. Beginning this fall, Pine Bend Trail will be closed east of Fischer Avenue.

From Highway 55, turn north on Fahey Avenue. When you get to the stop sign, take a right on Pine Bend Trail and then turn left onto Fischer Avenue.
