Join park staff and volunteer to help us improve the health and quality of our park through a morning of fun park restoration projects.

Dakota County Parks and Great River Greening are coming together to celebrate National Public Lands Day and plant native prairie grasses and wildflowers throughout the park.
National Public Lands Day is a day where huge impacts are made by volunteers all across the country to improve and enjoy forests and grasslands. These volunteer contributions are incredibly valuable to public lands.
This is a family-friendly event. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to attend. No previous knowledge or experience is necessary. We will provide the tools and training required.
Light snacks and extra water. Please bring your own reusable water bottle and any additional snacks or lunch items you may need. Additional food and activities may be provided. Details to come.

Once you have registered, organizers from Great River Greening will approve your registration, and you will receive confirmation. You will continue to receive event reminders as the event nears. If you have further questions, please contact Amy at
volunteer@greatrivergreening.org. If the event has reached capacity, please add your name to the waitlist. You will be automatically registered if space becomes available.
