Join park staff and volunteer to help us improve the health and quality of our park through a morning of fun park restoration projects followed by a thank-you lunch.
In the afternoon, celebrate our public lands with a fun open-house-style event. Meet the 4-legged members of our restoration team: the goats. Try canoeing and kayaking, enjoy live music, and other activities.
Registration for morning volunteer restoration projects required. All ages and abilities welcome. Come for all or just some of the day.
Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Visitor Center, Lebanon Hills Regional Park
Free. Registration required for morning volunteer projects.

Concessions provided by the Heavy Metal Grill food truck (until 1:30 p.m.) and Kallie’s Popcorn. Free thank-you lunch provided to all morning restoration volunteers.
8:30-9 a.m.: Volunteer arrival and check-in. Light refreshments available.
9-11 a.m.: Help our natural resource staff in partnership with Great River Greening on one of the last big restoration projects of the year. Our team up with our park naturalist staff on improving the Visitor Center's wildlife garden. A variety of project options are available for all ages. All volunteers need to register.
11 a.m.-noon: Thank-you lunch for all morning volunteers.
11 a.m.-2 p.m.: Celebrate our public lands. Food truck, goat meet and greet, free kayak and canoe demos, and other fun activities for the whole family.
12:30-2 p.m.: Live music by Danny and Tam (Irish music) in the amphitheater
What to bring
Come dressed for the weather. This event is outside. Bring a blanket or chair.
The event is light rain or shine. In the event of severe or significantly rainy weather, event staff will determine if the event will be cancelled on Sept. 27.
