The iLAB at the Wescott Library will offer everyone the chance to use state-of-the-art technology to design, create and imagine projects of all kinds.
The iLAB contains technology and equipment not accessible for most residents due to high costs or availability. Now, residents will be able to work on projects during business hours.
The vision behind the iLAB is to provide a space where residents can gather to not only invent and create, but to learn and share ideas.
Although the iLAB has some advanced technology that may be unfamiliar to some, the makerspace was designed to attract people of different skills, ages and interests. The Library features online tutorials to help people get acquainted with technology, and staff can assist visitors in getting started and direct them to appropriate resources.
