Enjoy the feel of northern Minnesota from this scenic park that overlooks the Mississippi River.

A rest stop along the Great River Road, Spring Lake Park Reserve is the "hidden jewel" of the Upper Mississippi River Valley.

Prescribed burns through May 31
Dakota County Parks will be conducting prescribed burns at Spring Lake Park Reserve as conditions allow. Prescribed burns are controlled fires that are used to improve the growth of native vegetation, including trees, shrubs, grasses and wildflowers. The exact times of the burns cannot be determined more than a day in advance due to weather conditions.
