Purchasing a trail pass
A pass is required to use this facility. Horse rental is not available. Find out more about purchasing an Equestrian Trailhead pass.
Hours: Open for the season. Trailhead is open daily from 8 a.m.–10 p.m.
Upcoming trail impacts
As trails are open prior to May 1, please respect temporary trail closures during April.
Saturday, April 23
Orienteering event participants will be using the equestrian trails. Trails are not closed, but please be aware of additional use of the trail.
Saturday, April 30
Section between Pilot Knob Road and Johnny Cake Ridge Road will be closed until noon for a natural resources volunteer event.
Equestrian Trailhead, parking lot and designated trails are for equestrian use only. Dogs, bikes and hikers are not allowed on horse trails. The use of horse drawn carts or wagons is prohibited. The horse trails close for the season once trails are snow covered.
