Help prevent vandalism at Lebanon Hills Regional Park
At least 20 black cherry trees have been girdled (bark removed) within Lebanon Hills Regional Park. This illegal act results in death of the tree. The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help to identify who is responsible for this crime by calling 911 or emailing a tip to the Dakota County Sheriff's Office.
If you see or hear someone removing the bark from trees, please contact 911 immediately. Most of the damaged trees have been found in the mountain bike area (See map.). However, this could occur in any area of the park. We greatly appreciate your help in this very important matter.
