Lebanon Hills Regional Park is the largest park in the Dakota County park system. Containing almost 2,000 acres, the park offers miles of trails and many lakes for year-round outdoor sports, recreation and environmental education.
The Lebanon Hills Visitor Center, located in the eastern section of the park, offers park information, interactive nature displays, courses and programs, equipment rental and access to all the beauty the park has to offer.
Dakota County Parks is actively restoring more than 1,100 acres of prairie and forest within Lebanon Hills Regional Park and planting more than 3,000 new trees and shrubs.
Holland Lake Trailhead closed May 23-24
The Holland Lake Trailhead, including the parking lot, access to the picnic shelter, access to the residential organics drop site, and access to the hiking trails, will be closed Wednesday, May 23 and Thursday, May 24 to allow for heavy equipment to truck out wood chip debris left over from this winter’s natural resource restoration projects.
Trail use changes May-July 2018
From May-July 2018, several trail segments north of Jensen Lake will be temporarily closed or reassigned during the Northern Natural Gas Easement Enhancement project. See a detailed trail map.
