A criminal complaint is the formal document filed by the Dakota County Attorney's Office that begins a criminal case. It details the criminal charges and the facts of the crime. Charges are not evidence of guilt as a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
Use the search tool to find a criminal complaint filed in Dakota County District Court. Complaints are available for a period of 12 months. All criminal complaints that include charges of criminal sexual conduct or child pornography are not available in the search tool.
