The Juvenile Services Center is a secured facility with both detention and treatment services for juveniles who pose the greatest risk to public safety. The facility serves Dakota County, the Minnesota Department of Corrections, and other Minnesota counties including Washington, Rice, Scott, Carver, Wabasha, Goodhue, Le Sueur, Stearns and Olmsted.
The Juvenile Services Center provides detention and treatment services for offenders guilty of delinquent offenses, either by admitting guilt or through a jury trial. The building has a capacity of 40 beds.
