Offenders on probation are subject to certain fees to offset a portion of the cost of providing services to them. They also may be required by the Court to pay restitution to their victims.
Questions about how to pay fines, fees or restitution should be directed to the Dakota County District Court Collections Unit at 952-891-7259.
Offenders on probation to the Probation Service Center who have questions about fines, fees or restitution should:
- Call the Probation Service Center line at 952-891-7222 and leave a message. All messages will be returned within 48 hours. If your call is not returned within 48 hours, call again
- Email the Probation Service Center at firstname.lastname@example.org. Probation Services Center staffs are available for walk-in appointments Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. at the Western Service Center in Apple Valley.
