Dakota County's Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council is encouraging high school seniors interested in an EMS or health care career to apply for their scholarship.
The EMS Education Scholarship will provide scholarships to two Dakota County high school seniors. Each will receive a $500 scholarship for EMS or other health care education after high school. Scholarship funds can be used for tuition and fees for an accredited program.
The advisory council awards the scholarships as a way of supporting and developing future EMS professionals.
Interested applicants must be graduating high school seniors and have attended a Dakota County high school or live within a Dakota County high school district.
Past scholarship winners demonstrated a deep commitment to their communities and a strong passion for helping others. Those awarded had goals of pursuing careers in emergency medical services and other health care-related fields.
Applications are due March 31, 2025.
