An upcoming community resource fair will offer information about services for families with children who have disabilities.
The South of the River Resource Fair will be Thursday, Oct. 10 from 4–7 p.m. at Lakeville South High School, 21135 Jacquard Ave., Lakeville. It will highlight local services and resources for children and young adults with mental health conditions and physical, intellectual and learning disabilities.
The fair will include 30-minute presentations from Arc Minnesota on supported decision-making and guardianship at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Parents, guardians and caregivers who are seeking resources to help plan for their child's transition from school to adult life are encouraged to attend and learn more about supportive resources. The fair is free.
