The Dakota County Historical Society will host a public meeting to provide an update on a Heroes & Heritage Trail on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 5:30–6:30 p.m. at the Lawshe Memorial Museum in South St. Paul.
The Lawshe Memorial Museum is located at 130 Third Ave. N. in South St. Paul. The event will start at 5:30 p.m. and is open free to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
The proposed Heroes & Heritage Trail is a 23-mile loop that will connect the communities of Inver Grove Heights, South St. Paul and West St. Paul through historical waysides. Attendees to the update meeting will learn more about the themes and locations of where the waysides will be placed.
