Individuals who live or work in Dakota County are invited to participate in the Recycling Ambassador class this fall.
The class will be Tuesdays, Oct. 7–Nov. 11 from 6–8 p.m. The first and last class will be in-person, and the rest of the classes are virtual via Microsoft Teams. Cost for the program is free. Participants receive course materials and transportation for an optional field trip.
Participants will learn the ins and outs of waste reduction, recycling, composting and more from regional experts and field trips to recycling facilities. Once classes are complete, participants volunteer 30 hours putting their skills to work on individual projects or with other Recycling Ambassadors.
