Dakota County is working with the cities of Inver Grove Heights and South St. Paul to improve pedestrian and bicycle safety along County Road 56 (Concord Boulevard) from Highway 55 to Interstate 494. The project also includes along the Mississippi River Regional Trail segment on the east side of Concord Boulevard for 3 miles from Cahill Avenue to 65th Street E.
This study will assess 15 intersections along Concord Boulevard to identify and improve crossing safety and improve all kinds of transportation in the area. The study began in September 2022 and will be completed in January 2023.
