Absentee voting for the 2024 Minnesota primary election is available Friday, June 28-Monday, Aug. 12, with the exception of July 4.
The primary election will be Tuesday, Aug. 13.
Residents may vote absentee by requesting a ballot, completing it according to the enclosed instructions and returning it in the envelopes provided. Absentee ballots must arrive by election day.
Voters can request and complete an absentee ballot at the Dakota County Administration Center in Hastings, Northern Service Center in West St. Paul or Western Service Center in Apple Valley, or their city hall.
Absentee ballots may also be mailed to a voter or completed via agent delivery. Residents who are overseas or active military are also able to vote absentee.
The general election is Nov. 5.
