The annual Opioid Meeting will be held on Nov. 7, 2024, 1 p.m., Robert Trail Library, 14395 S. Robert Trail, Rosemount.
Under the Minnesota Opioids State-Subdivision Memorandum of Agreement, Dakota County Public Health has been designated to serve as Dakota County's lead agency and chief strategist to identify, collaborate and respond to local issues as the Dakota County Board of Commissioners decide how to leverage and disburse the county's allocated Opioid Settlement Funds.
This meeting is intended for municipalities to provide input as to proposed uses of the Opioid Settlement Funds and to encourage collaboration between local governments both within and beyond our county. In addition to the participation of municipalities, the meeting will be open to the public and is intended to assure the public's right to be informed and to afford the public an opportunity to present their views.
