Dakota County and the cities of Burnsville and Eagan are resurfacing County Road 32 (Cliff Road) from Highway 13 to Interstate 35E. The project will improve pavement quality and fix pedestrian issues and public utilities.
The project includes resurfacing the roadway. Additional improvements include:
- Replacing the trail on the south side of Cliff Road from River Hills Drive to Rahncliff Court.
- Upgrading intersections with ADA improvements through pedestrian ramp accessibility upgrades.
- Replacing a traffic signal system at Slater Road and adding a right-turn lane at this intersection.
- Adding ADA push button upgrades at the traffic signal systems at River Hills Drive and Nicols Road.
- Extending the left turn lane from westbound Cliff Road to southbound Highway 13.
- Repairing storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water main as needed.
- Replacing driveways on Cliff Road within the right of way.
