County Project 32-113
Dakota County and the City of Burnsville are
designing a roundabout to replace the T-intersection at County Road 32 (Cliff Road) and the frontage road for the Interstate 35W northbound ramps. It includes improving the connection with Black Dog Trail.
This project will:
- Enhance safety and operations
- Improve access to local businesses
- Provide better pedestrian and bicyclists connections
The new roundabout will be similar to the one on the east side of I-35W for the southbound ramps. This project compliments several other improvements in the area, including:
- MnDOT 's I-35W Burnsville corridor improvements:
- Upgrades to the County Road 32 interchange
- Replacing paving and bridges on I-35W over Country Road 32
- Reconstructing County Road 32 under I-35W
This project will be funded by the Metropolitan Council's Transportation Advisory Board.
