Notice is hereby given that the public test of the tabulating equipment and electronic ballot marking device will be conducted in the Dakota County Elections Office, Suite 2300, 1590 Highway 55, Hastings for the Nov. 5, 2024 General Election on Monday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m.
Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 2 p.m.: Waterford and Hampton townships, cities of Sunfish Lake and Vermillion.
Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 10 a.m.: Douglas, Greenvale and Marshan townships.
Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m.: Cities of Empire and Randolph, Eureka Township.
Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Thursday, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m.: Nininger and Vermillion townships, City of Hampton.
Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Friday, Nov. 1 at 10 a.m.: Randolph and Ravenna townships, City of Lilydale.
Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Friday, Nov. 1 at 2 p.m.: Castle Rock and Sciota townships, City of Mendota.
The Public Accuracy Testing is open to anyone who wishes to attend. The voting system will be tested to ascertain that the system will correctly mark ballots and count the votes cast for all candidates.
