Notice is hereby given that the public test of the tabulating equipment and electronic ballot marking device will be conducted in the Dakota County Elections Office, Suite 2300, 1590 Highway 55, Hastings for the Aug. 13, 2024 Primary Election.
- Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 10:30 a.m.: Douglas, Greenvale and Marshan townships
- Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 2 p.m.: Cities of Empire and Randolph; Eureka Township
- Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Thursday, Aug. 8, at 10 a.m.: City of Hampton; Nininger and Vermillion townships
- Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Thursday, Aug. 8 at 1 p.m.: Cities of Sunfish Lake and Vermillion; Waterford and Hampton townships
- Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Friday, Aug. 9, at 10 a.m.: City of Lilydale; Randolph and Ravenna townships
- Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Friday, Aug. 9, at 1 p.m.: City of Mendota; Castle Rock and Sciota townships
The testing is open to anyone who wishes to attend. The voting system will be tested to ascertain that the system will correctly mark ballots and count the votes cast for all candidates. Persons interested in attending this public test should call Michelle Blue at 651-438-4314 for more information.
