In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the American Rescue Plan Act was signed into law on March 11, 2021. It established funds for state and local governments to respond to the economic and public health impacts of COVID-19.
Dakota County was allocated $83,332,300. As an eligible recipient, Dakota County is required to comply with the U.S. Department of Treasury federal compliance and reporting guidance. These guidelines establish reporting requirements, including an annual Recovery Plan Performance Report.
