Minnesota was part of many multi-state lawsuits against opioid manufacturers and distributors. One lawsuit was settled for $26 billion. A second wave of five lawsuits was settled for $20 billion. This money will be divided between states, counties and cities through 2038.
The Office of Minnesota's Attorney
explains how the settlement works and why it matters.
