You have many different options for paying your property taxes.
You can make a credit/debit card payment or electronic transfer from your bank account (either checking or savings) online using the Paymentus automated system. A 2.29-percent convenience fee will apply for credit/debit card transactions. A $2.95 convenience fee will apply for Visa Debit Program transactions. A $0.35 convenience fee will apply for transfers from your bank account.
You will need your Property Identification Number (found on your property tax statement) and a valid email address to pay online. Your email address is not stored, and is only used to email you a confirmation number and electronic receipt associated with your transaction. Your transaction is not complete until you receive a confirmation number. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards are accepted.

Your payment must be postmarked on or before the due date or penalties will apply.
Pay in person
You can pay in person at the Administration Center in Hastings, Northern Service Center in West St Paul, and the Western Service Center in Apple Valley.
All three locations are open 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Cash, check and credit card accepted (Discover, MasterCard or Visa). There is a 2.49-percent convenience fee for credit card use in person.

Canceling direct payment
To cancel your direct payment authorization, you must submit the Cancellation of Direct Payment Authorization Form online.
You must cancel payments by the following dates:

May 1 for the cancellation to be effective for the first half taxes.

Oct. 1 for the cancellation to be effective for the second half taxes.

Nov. 1 for the cancellation to be effective for the second half of agricultural taxes.
