Dakota County will crack seal about 28 miles of roadway. This work includes cleaning out cracks in the pavement and filling them with sealant. Crack sealing is done to extend the life of the pavement. Work will occur on the following segments:
Crack sealing
- County Road 8 (Wentworth Avenue) – County Road 63 to Highway 3 in West St Paul
- County Road 17 – 267th Street W. (County Road 84) to 250th Street (County Road 80) in Eureka Township
- County Road 23 (Cedar Avenue) – 59 feet north of North Avenue to 320th Street (County Road 96) in Greenvale Township
- County Road 23 (Cedar Avenue) – 905 feet south of 220th St to 75 feet south of 179th Street in Lakeville, Eureka and Greenvale Township
- County Road 30 (Diffley Avenue) – 360 feet east of Baddock Trail to Highway 3 in Eagan
- County Road 38 (McAndrews Road)– Johnny Cake Ridge Road to Pilot Knob (County Road 31) in Apple Valley
- County Road 66 (200th Street) – 165 feet east of northbound Highway 52 to 32 feet south of 190th Street (County Road 62) in Vermillion Township
- County Road 86 (280th Street) – Highway 3 to 582 feet west of Northfield Boulevard (County Road 47) in Castle Rock Township
- County Road 89 (Joan Avenue) – 190th Street (County Road 62) to Northfield Boulevard (County Road 47) in Marshan Township
Micro-surfacing
- County Road 54 (Ravenna Trail) – City of Hastings east boundary to 200th Street (County Road 68) in Ravenna Township

Access
Temporary lane closures will be necessary to complete this work. A flagging operation will be in place on two-lane roadways. On four-lane roadways, one lane will be closed and traffic will be shifted to the other lane in that direction. Delays are expected. Use alternate routes, if possible.
