County Project 31-111
Dakota County and the City of Farmington are planning for new trail on the east side of Pilot Knob Road (County Road 31). The trail will run between Elm Street and 195th Street. The project will also build a trail on the west side of Pilot Knob Road south of 197th Street.
When this project is completed, residents will not need to cross Pilot Knob Road to use a trail. This trail will provide for more safe connections within the area for walkers and bikers. The county and city created a preliminary design of the trail for public comment. The next steps for the project include completing design and finding funding for construction.
Updates on the project will be posted here as they are available.
