You are not allowed to put yard waste like grass clippings, leaves, twigs and branches in your trash.
Compost yard waste, have it picked up by your trash hauler during seasonal yard waste collection or bring to a facility below.
Curbside yard waste collection
Contact your trash hauler to schedule a one-time or repeated yard waste pick-up.
If you bag your yard waste, you must use a
compostable bag or paper bag because they break down into compost along with your yard waste. Regular plastic bags do not break down and contaminate finished compost.
Residential yard waste sites
Call first to verify fees, hours and items accepted. All yard waste must be in a paper bag or a reusable container that is taken home.
