Youth members of Dakota County Advisory Committees get to advise the county board on issues that matter to Dakota County residents. They also get the opportunity to connect with county commissioners and high-level staff and learn more about what a county does.
Dakota County accepts applications for appointment to youth-specific seats on its Advisory Committees. There are two seats on each of the following committees: Public Art Advisory Committee, Library Advisory Committee and Extension Committee.
