The Probation Service Center (PSC) is for low-risk clients who are likely to satisfy the conditions of their probation with minimal assistance from staff.
PSC clients must attend an orientation meeting where they may be assigned to phone reporting, group probation meetings or both. Group probation meetings are held quarterly at the Western Service Center in Apple Valley or Northern Service Center in West St. Paul. Meetings are held on Thursdays between 9–10 a.m. or between 5–7 p.m.
Clients on group probation meet with probation staff on a first-come, first-served basis. Each client must bring a photo ID and a money order for $20 in case a urinalysis test is needed. A client should complete any court-ordered assessments prior to attending his/her first PSC meeting, and bring a copy of assessments and verifications of any other completed conditions to the orientation or meeting.
Probation staff will discuss all remaining probation conditions at the meeting.
