County Project 42-161
Dakota County and the City of Hastings are planning for trail and road improvements to County Road 42 to make it safer for all users. This is a main road within the city used by drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians. Today, there are incomplete trail facilities and worries about speeding in the area. The project will include new trail on the south side of the road and changes to the traffic lanes to help lower speeds. Safe crossings for pedestrians are also included in the plans.
